Resumen

Due anatomic particularity and specific function of the female genitals, often it is possible to find several vaginal infections. Microbiological entities that grow in the genital tract vary according to several factors causing and disorders affecting the normal bacterial flora. Vaginal infections in our country particularly in our region turn out to be a disease that mainly affects women of childbearing age , especially in rural areas due to multiple factors ; such as: lack of guidance , promiscuity, lack of sexual education, poor living conditions , lack of sexual hygiene, and early entry into the onset of sexual activity, and other more economic factor . The study was conducted in secondary students in the municipality of San Lucas and vaginitis and vaginosis present was determined by examining fresh , Morphological identifying the etiologic agent. The results show that the hypothesis is partially proven since there is high prevalence of Candida ( 64%), but not from Trichomonas ( 10%), Gardnerella ( 19%). High prevalent is also related also with lack basic sanitation.
